Anyone else unable to have Siri play songs via CarPlay or the enhanced Bluetooth with Ford Sync 3?

The song gets ready, but in Bluetooth mode, it faults back to previous audio. In CarPlay mode, the song comes up and never plays.

Edit: I failed to mention that I reported this as a Bluetooth bug in beta 7 (which I got before it was pulled). I reported the CarPlay issue separately in the build I received today.

Edit 2: Clarification. I have tried with both online and online files with no difference. I have also tried initiating playback everywhere possible. The Sync touch screen and the Apple Music widget on my home screen and in the app on the phone itself.

Edit 3 (SOLVED): All of this was solved by updating Sync via USB. I had mistakenly thought it had been updating via WiFi as I told it to when I set up the vehicle. A big thank you to everyone who helped me figure this out. Your comments were greatly appreciated.
