Want to get out of my lease
Post Body

So I just traded in my Dodge Durango on an early lease for Bmw, I wanted to get out of the payments and didnt want the car anymore. Originally I wanted to find a cheaper car, I was interested in pre owned and certified ar first. However the 2025 BMW M340i made me fall in love. I totally got in my head and thought yeah I could do this ill just work more overtime etc. Now i absolutely regret it. The car is $1050 a month and ive only had it for a week. I need some advice on what to do. I was thinking my best bet is a lease transfer but i dont know where to begin. Unfortunately In NJ there is no buyers remorse at car dealers. And they told me it would cost me $13k to give the car back and walk away from it which is ridiculous. Please dont judge me I made an impulsive decision and I just need some help. Thanks in advance!
