Thoughts or concerns on a spare tire being 1in smaller than my regular tires?

Please hear me out lol, I have a 2015 kia forte5 it didn't come with a spare so I had to buy one online.. I thought I got the exact size guess I didn't.. it's around 1in smaller I believe than the other tires.. will I cause damage to my car at all? Ridiculous that cars can be sold without a spare of any kind.. it's a donut tire/not full size. Be easy on me, my car intellect is pretty basic😂
