car overheated and then dumped all of its coolant on the ground
Post Body

We were in the parking lot, idling, when we saw the car was overheating, so we turned off the engine, and a few minutes later we saw what looked like possibly all of the coolant on the ground. there was never any steam, or any signs it was happening, we just saw the puddle about 20 minutes after turning off the car.

What do we do? we live about 10 minutes away from where it happened, is it safe to drive home?

Edit: we got it to an auto parts store and they took a look, it turns out it was just a cracked hose. Something I can fix myself. They filled the radiator, told us what it was and how to fix it, and that was that.
