Under power nicer speakers or fully power lower end?

I’m replacing the mids in my new Crosstrek. I am powering them with Sony’s 4x45 micro amp, which I have already purchased.
My question is, if I am looking at the Kicker line, is it better to fully power the DS model to its fullest potential, a lesser speaker, or to jump up to the CS or KS and underpower it?
Granted, I would be getting a better speaker, but it would only get approx half its power limit.
