Fitting larger unit into smaller trim?

Post Body

Hi all,

I recently bought a new double din head unit for my car when I realized my car’s original radio is slightly smaller than double din.

My new unit fits face down but not face up because of the slightly larger outer bezel. I would rather cut down the unit’s bezel rather than my car’s trim just so the original radio can still fit in normally.

However, I’m not sure what the best method would be to shave down the outer bezel. An angle grinder? Sand paper? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
