Hey, team! Just installed my new headunit, straight from the Far East, and I actually love it! Super high build quality, decent UIUX, HVAC controls work fine, and sounds great. Only thing is, I got the included backup camera (generic AHD camera) wired up, and it won’t trigger when I shift into Reverse. When I shift OUT of reverse, the screen briefly switches to just black, but that’s it. Here’s the setup:Rear: 1. Positive and Ground connected to existing Reverse light wiring 2. Rear reverse trigger wire (red) connected to Reverse red wire Front: 1. Trigger wire connected to brown REVERSE wire coming out of new head unit 2. Yellow Coax/video male plugged into VIDEO in female yellow Coax.

I can view the video feed if I change the unit’s mode to AUX, and select CAMERA as source, but it’s just a generic video feed, no reverse lines etc, and it doesn’t automatically trigger. I’m talking to their product support, which is actually also very surprisingly good, but it takes 24 hours between messages, and there’s a big language barrier. SO, any ideas? TYSM!!!
