So I’m looking for a Stereo for my project car I’m building and I am not too reliant on the Audio Quality .As I am not too knowledgeable on the car Audio spectrum of things or audio in general . But I do want some Good quality Audio . I’ve looked at a good bit of stereos and I’ve came across the Sony XAV ax6000 , which works for me as it has a great bit of modern features , a minimalistic design and is mounted to a single din chassis which would work great for what I want to do with my dash . I consulted with my pops on it and he stressed to me that I should Choose the Alpine ILX507 over any and everything . As it has better Sound quality, pre-amp out puts and etc…. I wouldn’t mind choosing the Alpine over the Sony stereo , it’s just that’s it’s ugly ash lol and does not have many features as the Sony. I just want good quality I could care less if I have the best audio quality . I’ve also came across a better looking unit which is a Alpine 407 but again it doesn’t have that many features . What do you guys think?
