Effectiveness of audio processors

I recently had my local audio shop install a LC2 in my Subaru. I initially got a whole new sound system installed short of the head unit (to keep controls working good) and found that bass roll off was killing my bass at higher volume levels.

After the processor was installed, I noticed a big difference. However, the roll off isn’t completely gone. My question is, is it possible to illuminate all bass roll off, or will I always be stuck with some amount of it?

Is it a tuning issue, or will I always be limited in the amount of roll off I can illuminate?
