help new head unit won't fit, is slightly bigger than double din??

I just got this head unit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B3X3C7RD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

to put into my 2009 ford escape, I bought a double din dash kit but the unit doesn't fit the opening, it just slightly bigger in in both length and width. I don't want to destroy my dash kit to make it fit, does anyone know if there is a dash kit that will fit?

Edit: The manufacturer has a warehouse based out of LA, I reached out to them and they sent me to the appropriate place to get a dash kit that fits.
