Stuck, need some advice!

So im fairly new, been playing for a little over a week, F2P. This is where im at as in the pictures posted. I have a lot of resources saved as im not sure whats best to do with them, and i keep getting told to hold my gems for some special event. Any advice would be great 😊
Edit: I know i need to get all my pets to lvl 5 asap
