I have been a proud owner of the Gen 1, Canon 1DX for years and I love it! But I want better video quality, so it’s time to upgrade. I’m going to stick with Canon because I love their and own lots of their stuff and I want a large body because I love the batter life and build quality.
My work consists of action, portrait, product and landscape photography to give you an idea of what I’ll be using this additional camera for. I’m stuck between the Canon 1D X Mk III or the Canon R3. I know if I go with the R3, I’m going to want at least one RF lens, but I know I can simply use an adapter and save some money. But then I also think that the 1DX Mk III is plenty. Yeah, they’re both pricey, but when it comes to the price, they’re not too far apart, so I’m wondering what other professionals and enthusiasts would do?
Any input would be appreciated.
Cheers 👌
