First time canning applesauce, four out of five jars leaked!

I followed the directions exactly per the Presto manual/recipe book. One applesauce jar ended up with about 3 inches of headspace even though I left 1 inch before processing. The other jars were leaking when I took them out, but they were sealed.

Google tells me that as long as there is a seal, the jars are fine. Is this true? Or should I reprocess, or clean up the jars and refrigerate?
