A few questions about E-liquids

Post Body

I am pretty experienced in making RSO and love vaping but hate buying the carts at outrageous prices so I’d figure I’d make my own vape liquid. When I make RSO that I intend to smoke, I don’t decarb it. If I have RSO that I’m going to be used for edibles/oil infusions I obviously decarb. Typically, I decarb for about 40 mins at about 220-225F. All of the stuff I’ve read online about making your own cannabis infused e-liquid says to decarb for only 15-20 mins. Does this mean that I should only decarb my bud for that shorter amount of time before I extract when making my RSO if I’m going to make e-liquid? Or, is it alright to decarb for the normal time I use?

Secondly, i know there’s a lot of debate about which is better for making e-liquids (PG vs. VG) so I think to satiate both arguments I figured I’d use a 1:1 ratio of both. Is that alright? I figured since VG is more viscous than PG that a PG-VG mixture would alleviate that issue (not too thick, not too thin type of scenario).

And, last but not least, I have a pretty high tolerance so I want to make the vape liquid as potent as possible. Any recommendations for the max amount of RSO I can effectively infuse into the PG-VG mixture without overdoing it and wasting precious product?

Sorry for the longish post. Thanks for any help!
