Just found out my Aunt died
Post Body

Recently in the last few weeks I found out my aunt had cancer & opted to not get treatment. Not particularly close but my father has cancer as well. My aunt passed away on Friday & I think my father is quietly grieving. They weren’t close the last decade but now his sister is just gone forever.

I don’t really know how to feel about everything. I’ve honestly got enough on my plate with work & looking after my father (he can’t do much for himself). Despite not interacting with my aunt for a long time, a lot of my early memories are of Christmas days at her house & other family gatherings with her children, my cousins. The reality she’s gone seems surreal.
