What was chemo like for your loved one?
Post Body
We found out last week that my mom (67F) has stage IV esophageal cancer that has spread to her liver. This all came out of nowhere after some abdominal pain about 3 weeks ago. I understand that this is treatable but not curable.
She is worried that her body won’t be able to handle chemo. I know everyone’s body handles things different. We go tomorrow for the education on it, then she’s supposed to start chemo next week.
How did your loved one handle chemo physically and mentally?
