My friend is nearing the end of her 3-year battle with cervical cancer. She is on home hospice with her children, 2 under the age of 6. I live quite far from her and am worried I won't be able to see her in person, so I wanted to send a gift ahead--something to give her comfort and maybe something for her to do with her kids. She hasn't given up hope yet and this is not her first time on hospice, so I don't want to be too presumptious in what I gift. If anyone can suggest a thoughtful gift that your family member received, please let me know.
