I love my aunt so much, I barely knew her except when I was a kid then her and my uncle split ways with my family they’re still together lol. due to family drama when I was 4 or 5. I’m 24 now and she’s known about her cancer since April 2022. I visited her with my grandma last year and again this year but I haven’t talked to her on the phone and I feel so guilty. I’m terrible at social interactions and it’s stopping me from calling and I hate it. I’m just not good at conversations with people who aren’t my parents or boyfriend. But I want to talk to her especially since she’s at her last few weeks. I want her to know how special she is to me and how I wish we got more time together but I don’t know if that’s stuff you say to someone dying and accidentally make her more fearful of death? Idk. I’m hoping I can go visit her with my grandma but things haven’t been planned yet. If not how do I talk to her? My life isn’t great at all so I don’t want to talk about that. What questions do I ask her to get conversation flowing? She seems to like me a lot she said I’m her favorite niece. So I want to get to know her more before she passes. I’m lost. And could really use some advice. My anxiety is obviously bad and ocd so I go into freeze mode in situations and panic.
