Canary won’t stop laying eggs.

I’ve got a fancy canary female and a yellow canary male in a large cage together. The female canary has had health issues in the past; a bruised leg and some loss of plumage. She’s been laying eggs non stop since I got her this May. Is this healthy for her? I’ve seen some swelling in her cloaca, so I’m worried the excessive egg laying might be damaging to her health. Any advice is helpful, thanks.
