Salutations Reddit!
It's been a bit but while I have not been posting here much I have been pretty busy working for some online blogs and such. I have not really been accepting much for reddit reviews in the last few months but when the opportunity arises to post up a review for Reddit Vendors I jump at the opportunity. Even though I am not posting as much, I am still in here every day reading through posts. Anyway, our boy Ed the Man aka Mr. Northern Nectar aka /u/eoszlak aka John Wayne aka Troy MacLure aka let's start this review.
After waiting what seemed like a century for Eddie to release a new flavor(s) the stars finally aligned and he reached out to me to give the good news. He said that this was going to be life-changing, heart pounding and might even shift the tectonic plates creating earth-shattering tremors. Well, maybe none of that is true but it sounded good!
Follow along as I reveal my thoughts on this new addition to the Northern Nectar lineup. I can honestly say that it is pretty damn fantastic.
Testing was done in a Dead Rabbit RDA with a shiny new set of framed staple coils sitting on top of a Lost Vape Therion DNA 166
The bottle I received was a clear 60ml chubby gorilla with a new design. No longer is there a little ring at the base of the cap to keep in place, it is all one solid piece!

Main Tasting Notes
If you have read any of my reviews you already know that I love anything with a tropical twist, especially with pineapple. Pineapple done right is easily one of the best profiles in vaping, in my opinion. Secondly, even though I can't figure out how to use it myself, I love Jackfruit. It's slightly floral characteristics with delightful fleshy undertones work really well when paired up with the right flavors.
When I jumped into this I did not reference any descriptions. I wanted to figure this one out on my own. I often find that knowing the profile ahead of time sets expectations and may bend the experience one way or another. So, I went in blind.
The title Agua Loca made me think it was going to be something like cactus water or something but I was so wrong.
The first inhale I took of this I was greeted by an all too familiar taste of pineapple. It is exactly how I like it. The tang that comes with this pineapple is exactly like a bite of something fresh.
Following in behind the pineapple was another familiar note but not one that I remember from recent memory. I initially thought it was apricot but after going back and forth on its taste I nailed down the nectarine. I find that this flavor is not often used and fairly uncommon. Just like the pineapple, this is a fresh tasting nectarine with a touch of syrup sweetness. Truly beautiful execution in bringing this out to compete with the pineapple.
Going in the exhale some of the other notes start to surface. Ill be honest and say that I have no idea what starfruit tastes like so identifying it completely was not possible but I think I picked out some different notes that are coming from the starfruit.
In the exhale there is this really earthy, tropical sweetness that I have not experienced before and I think that this is coming from the starfruit. I could be wrong.
Blending in there with all that is a very light almost not noticeable citrus. The tangerine is not super defined but I do get little hints of a zesty citrus and faint resemblance of tangerine.
This is a flavor that I personally have been working with a lot lately and as far as citrus goes Tangerine is by far the best tasting and does not carry those throat burning chemical effects that a lot of others do. This is super clean
All the while these notes are coming out in the exhale, the Pineapple is still lingering around, still defined and obvious.
Overall, this is a beautiful and very clean mix. I do not know if I will be alive to see the next Northern Nectar release in 2087 but I hope for the best.
