Hello everyone. I joined this sub reddit not too long ago to learn. So in other words I'm hoping you can all help me learn a little more.

I've read through the rules and I'm hoping this doesn't break rule 4.

To the point of said thread. I've been diabetic for 27 years. Diabetes runs in my family, and I was cursed with it on my 6th birthday. Quite literally. So I thought to myself why the hell not start investing in myself. I have to pay for said medications, and assisting things such as glucose meters and strips. To which I thought "maybe I should ask others who may have done this".

And not just with diabetes. As I'm sure there are other stocks which are open to the public to invest in with other permanent illnesses.

Again, I'm terribly sorry mods if this does break rule 4. I'm hoping it doesn't.
