Let's talk about mold.

A month or so ago I purchased some marijuana that seemed some what on the wet side of dry but nothing crazy. I took it out of the package and put it in a jar with a 62 boveda.

Over that time I opened the jar 2-3 times a week to smell and smoke it. Yesterday I opened it up and took a decent inhale and was hit with "that smell" I inspected the buds and found numerous little patches of mold.

What went on here? I've never had bud mold on me storing it the way I do. Was this bud doomed from the start or was it my mistake? I'm now anxious about my other strains that are stored the same way.
