Would it be frowned upon if you end up declining a LOO

Post Body

Hi guys!

I work in department A and a while back applied for a position in Department B. No increase in pay as it would be the same and It would be an acting for a year!

Idk… after some time has passed - I’ve been thinking of just staying where I’m at so I have to ask.. if I were ever to receive a LOO for the other position, would it be fine to decline and stay in my current department without any issues or is it something that is frowned upon although technically it’s still within your right to decline.

Thanks!
