Should travel to another province be cancelled?

Am I being crazy if I want to cancel my upcoming trip to Vancouver island in april? Im travelling by vehicle from Alberta over but am just concerned about staying in hotels, eating at restaurants etc. I dont know who has been where and from what country or city.

I know its not likely ill catch it and theres so few cases in Canada but I dont want to put myself or husband at unnecessary risk.

We are in our thirties and no significant health problems. Am i looking into it to much or being a healthy level of cautious?
