Does your MPG glitch ?

Okay, so I generally get really good MPG with my car in the last 3 months I owned it but this was the highest MPG I have gotten from it and its been like this for the last 2 days (or at least around 60 and up) I always reset it every trip just to see if it will lower but it stays around that average. Ill keep watching and observing just wondering. I mean Ill take 60 MPG just kinda hard to believe for me.
PS: my driving was a mixture of city roads and freeway
