Hi all. I have an 09 Camry le with a 2.4 l engine. I love the car it was my first and in the 10 years of ownership itβs needed very little in terms of maintenance just the standard things. I currently have about 150k on it and no problems. I was informed by a friend that at 180k I should replace the timing chain. Something about a tooth shifts at that age and causes the timing to go out. I have no issues saving up and spending the money on a timing chain job. My question is is this a common issue on the 2.4 or can I take it 200k plus and the chain be fine? Thank you all!
