Definitely love Gorillapods, but they can't hold the D800, and the GoPro is usually mounted to a hiking pole or needs to be static somewhere. the tripod we use for the GoPro is super light and goes anywhere. You'd be surprised how few places you can find to utilize a Gorillapod properly in the woods.
True. The only pieces of gear that are in my regular, personal loadout are the BA Tent and the Jetboil. The rest is to be reviewed.
We're in Alabama, so we're near Cheaha State Park and the Talladega National Forest. We generally film all over that place. It's great.

Loved it - The only thing is that it's tough to load despite the opening zippers on the back. It's tough to stand up. Other than that, the ventilation system is one of the best I've ever seen. Could literally feel air going between my back and the pack.
