What's Your "I shouldn't have done that" story of being on a trail and what did you learn?
Post Body
For example, hiking at night, not practicing LNT, feeding animals, etc.
My most common "shouldn't have" is hiking at night. It's risky no matter where you are because of safety in terrain, etc., but I still sometimes do it, even soloing.

I can completely relate to this.
My best friend and hiking partner, to this day, carries an 80 pack for an overnighter - Full. And, usually has a plastic bag full of bacon swinging around off the back of it.
Pro Tip: If you buy a huge pack, you're going to want to fill it up. Start small!
