After not wining the Yellowstone back country permit lottery, I am looking for some scenic backpacking routes through less popular national parks/ forests. Preferably in the mountain west. I’ve done the Grand Tetons, RMNP, Canyonlands, etc. but looking for something less “popular” now that my Yellowstone plan might not be possible this year.
Hoping for something about 5 days, 4 nights, /- 50 miles, in the vicinity of water supply (rivers, waterfalls, lakes)
Thank you for all the insight in advance! Y’all are awesome.
