Backpack for tropical countries

Hello,
I am going to spend 4 1/2 weeks in Indonesia and am looking for a proper backpack. The problem I have with my current one is that I sweat alot under the straps. We are only going to do day tours, so it does not have to be very big, but I would love it to be as light as possible.
What would you recommend?
