My wife and I are doing our first walk in camping. It has been a bucket list item of mine for several years. We were fortunate enough to have a friend sell us a tent for cheap. We have slowly been gathering up the smaller items over the past year. We are a week away.
The one thing I have overlooked is food. Since we are just beginning, I was wanting to try something simple like Mountain House foods, but I’ve found for them to be extremely expensive to buy them online. A $28 order was going to cost $14 to ship.
Is there a better alternative? Is there a better place to buy Mountain House? Is there another company that is similar?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
