Physique: Fairly tall for his age, and wiry in build. Is athletic and in good physical shape, but not overly buff.

Clothing: Tends towards a casual jeans and t-shirt look, with a light jacket when the weather warrants. Wears sportswear and tracksuits when exercising, and sunglasses when it's sunny.

Powers

• Passive Power: Moonlight Battle Prowess. Alex is considerably stronger, faster, and more agile while under the moon, and especially so when under a full moon.

• Active Power 1: Night Vision. Alex can see perfectly fine in the dark, with the exception that he can't see colour. His eyes also take a few moments to adjust to light changes, just like ordinary human eyes do, so a rapid shift from light to dark or vice versa will temporarily disorient him.

• Active Power 2: Enhanced Stamina. Alex tires quite slowly. He can keep up arduous physical activity and can stay awake for significantly longer than most.

• Active Power 3: Lunakinesis. Alex can create silvery constructs out of moonlight. Currently this ability is quite unrefined and gives Alex headaches when too frequently used.

Equipment

Alex has a Swiss Army knife that, in addition to all of a Swiss Army knife's regular features, turns into a Celestial Bronze flame-bladed sword when the knife's cross logo is pressed. He also has a mid-range Android smartphone with old-school wired earbuds, a backpack, and other miscellaneous personal sundries.

Biography

Alex was raised by his father, Joseph, in one of the nicer parts of Detroit. He never met his mother, although his father spoke of her occasionally, always with a wistful tone; notably, Joseph attributed some of Alex's unusual characteristics, like his extremely keen eyesight at night, to his mother. Alex was a night owl from birth, being far more active and energized while the sun was down. While his unusual ability to stay awake meant that he could usually manage to attend school and meet his other daytime responsibilities, he was never the most attentive in daytime. This, combined with his ADHD and his general penchant for getting himself into trouble, resulted in him being labelled a problem child in the school system.

Eventually, after coming home with some scrapes and bruises due to a fight with some "really weird looking low-lifes", Joseph told Alex that he should go to a special boarding school in New York, which was more suited to "people like him, with parents like his mother". After some packing, hugs, and promises to keep in touch and visit soon, Joseph dropped Alex off at the airport with a ticket, money for a cab and some snacks, and directions to this special boarding school.

Note: I'm assuming here that Alex arrives before the most recent modpost, either the morning of that day or like a couple of days before.

Alex was dropped off near camp by a cab, and trekked the remainder of the way to camp on foot. It was rather windy when he approached the premises, and he had to take pains to avoid being knocked to the ground by the gusts. At the crack of dawn Alex crossed over the barrier into camp, and started walking around aimlessly, looking for where he was supposed to report to.
