Planning first time trip to Huron-Manistee
Post Body

Iā€™m trying to plan a 3-4 day trip up to Huron-Manistee from right over the border in Indiana. Iā€™m planning on doing a little overland/dispersed camping trip and Iā€™m trying to figure out how camping rules are. From what the USDA forest site says, camping is allowed pretty much everywhere. Is that actually true or is it only established sites? And are there maps available for download/purchase that show established sites or is it more of a wander around until you find a good one to set up for the night? Planning on doing a lot of hiking and vehicle based wandering so any help is seriously appreciated. Thanks!
