Hi! My dad and I are Francophiles (we are Americans that both speak French), and on my dad's bucket list is to walk some of a Camino. My dad has always been super fit and healthy for his age, and he's still super healthy, but he's definitely getting slower and less energetic when it comes to difficult physical things like backpacking, running, and hiking. The Camino is something I definitely want to do with him before he's not able to anymore!
I could walk all day (I'm used to long-distance running, walking, hiking, and backpacking) but I think my dad's max would be walking 12 mi, maybe ONE 15 miler in a week.
I was thinking a ~7 day Camino section would be great. The Le Puy would be amazing, but I don't know if there are any sections that meet our requirements.
So, my question is, does a particular section come to mind when it comes to prioritizing: 1) beauty 2) not TOO challenging (on the easier side because I want my dad to enjoy it and not be exhausted) and 3) the ability to stay in B&B's / hotels vs. hostels.
Thanks so much!
