Hello. I am a backpacking enthusiast and just starting to get into photography while I am hiking. I am looking for a good set up to go backpacking with. I enjoy taking pictures of landscapes, but my Samsung s9 really isn't cutting it anymore, in my opinion.
Here are some examples of pictures I have taken on a previous trip: https://imgur.com/a/MdkH3ex
I would imagine that wide angle stuff would suit me the best and that if I really want to have quality pictures I'm basically pushed into DSLR. I would appreciate advice both on what to look for and in your opinions on cameras that are relatively lightweight, durable and have high quality image taking.
If I were to budget this, I would guess less than $1200 all things included. Is this unrealistic?
