Hello! I am moving to Cambridge in the coming months for work and I have been doing some apartment hunting. I visited Zinc apartments and felt like it might make a good fit. It has the amenities I am looking for and with a 15 month lease, the rent is more reasonably within my budget than most luxury 1 bedrooms. Unfortunately, I have read some mixed reviews online.
I am curious if anyone has or is currently living there and what your experience is. The main thing I am worried about honestly is the noise from construction.
Zinc along with Twenty20 are the two current best rental options in the area. If you can get a good deal, jump on it. The area is full of construction and will be for the next 3-5 years. So, consider if you're OK with that and it's getting to feel more 'city' with being connected better to Boston than it did in the years past. So, if you're looking for calm and quiet this isn't it neither. Definitely avoid Canal Park and Regatta condos. Both are gross with horrible management
