How do I adjust audio input levels on Streamate?

I'm using their site based broadcaster. Whether I use the mic inbuilt into the Brio, or use external Blue Yeti, my music sounds garbled and my voice goes in and out sometimes. It displays as low audio. I tried adjusting it with the slider on the broadcaster, as well as in my settings on my computer, but it still doesn't work right. what gives? is there a way to fix this?
