Hey y’all! I have now been in my new apartment for a month. Besides Life in General being stressful af and my apartment turning 3/4 into a depression nest, I think I’m turning a corner.

1) my bathroom is AMAZING AND PERFECT for shower shows. I love it. What I do not love is I had to leave my bidet installation at my old home. I’m exploring options.

2) haha. And here comes the problem. So, I’m on the third floor. This complex has a certain level of acoustics. If you know what I mean. I actually don’t mind it. It feels less lonely. But you can indeed hear furniture being moved around or doggos prancing and playing.

Also people are moving in and out almost daily. I didn’t know my complex was about 80% military and there’s always someone coming or going with transfers. Everyone pretty much sticks to themselves.

So, what to do to dampen the sound of the sex machine ON the floor. I mean of course put it on the bed. Problem solved. But to be fair, my accidental magic trick is the machine makes me squirt instantly and just not stop. I’m not about to destroy my mattress even with waterproof sheets. Ask Me How I Know.

My thought is layers of rubber kitchen mats, and maybe yoga mats for good measure. Just something to absorb the thump thump thump.
