if you have cheated: did you feel remorse after?
Post Body

Soooo, I'm pretty indifferent to cheating, like I truly don't care. I've probably been cheated on and I've cheated. Never felt bad, resentful or remorseful tho. I cheated multiple times, every time I was fully sober, just in my house minding my business and got a text from other guys asking to meet and I said yes. Why did I do it? Because I could. I was never in a rough patch in the relationship (actually it was always the first months of officially dating so like the "honeymoon phase"), never felt the need to "come clean" with my partners either. I've probably been cheated on too, but I didn't care then and I don't care now. I get why rationally it's wrong to cheat, but I've never truly experienced the emotional guilt that comes with it. Maybe I'm one of those people that should be poly or have an open relationship, but tbh most guys like the idea ENM until they find out im getting more than them and then they want to be exclusive so I have to rely on cheating (not emotionally mature I know, but what if you really like someone but they just can't fulfill your every need?).

I'll probably get tons of shit for this post lol but is there anyone that feels the same about cheating? If you did cheat, did you feel remorse?

Edit: lol all of the comments diagnosing me are hilarious. Are you all certified psychotherapists or psychiatrists? Can I see your degree? Should I even go to my therapist at this point since yall can diagnose people through a post on reddit? Lmao bfr
