We stayed at the resort for a week in May of 23. Here are our thoughts. First, Caliente is an absolutely first class resort. It is huge with 5 pools, hot tub, tennis courts, volleyball courts, sports bar, tiki bar, night club, formal dining, piano bar, gym, and yoga room. The main pool has islands and a water fall. The resort is part of a gated community and the whole complex is clothing optional. 99% of the people at the pool on any day are naked. It is foremost a nudist facility and we were comfortable naked almost all the time. We stayed at the hotel on site and could walk to the main entrance in 2 minutes. They have shuttles to the condos and town homes which can also be rented. The staff is friendly and helpful. The entire facility is extremely clean and well kept up. You can not bring food or drinks in. The facility has a good variety of food and it is very good. There are several bars and pool services for drinks and food. Prices are similar to going out to eat. The vibe at the pool is calm and relaxed most times. There is always music with DJ’s and bands on the weekends. Most of the people are locals from the community or local members. It is not at all like a hotel take over. NO sexual activity at all anywhere on the property during day light hours!
The night club is open Thursday through Sunday and is full most of the time. DJ and dance floor. Most are dressed semi formal. Women in body con dresses or more revealing clothing. This is the time to wear your super sexy stuff you can’t wear in normal clubs. Erotic dance is fine, but no sex. Caliente has a room that is extremely well decorated for couples and group play but it has been closed since September of 22 and will not be open anytime soon. In its place there is a conversation pool and hot tub area that is somewhat isolated where you can go after dark for couples or group play. Weekend had 30 to 40 people playing mostly as couples. Weekday was 10 to 15 people. We are a full swap lifestyle couple and we hoped to meet and enjoy several couples and groups while there. This did not happen at the level we hoped for. We did meet and enjoy 3 couples while there. By far, the majority of the people there are nudists and that sets the vibe. However, Caliente is by far the nicest lifestyle type place we have ever been to in the US. Feel free to message us with any questions
