Recently when sending books to my Kindle, it seems like Calibre is not sending the files to the correct paths, and the books aren't showing up on the Kindle. I use De-DRM to strip any DRM from my books, convert them to AZW3 if in another format, and then send over Calibre to the Kindle.
What I'm finding is that the AZW3 files are going to the main folder for the author, but the book is generating the APNX file in a subfolder, and with the AZW3 and APNX files in different locations, the Kindle doesn't even register that the book exists even though Calibre sees it on the device.
Moving the file to the correct folder (together with the APNX file) fixes it and the Kindle immediately sees the book. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
