Post Body

I have an old Kindle eink device that I'm using with De-Drm 10.0.3 and KFX Input 2.5.0. I'm on macOS Sonoma and using the Kindle for Mac 'Classic'.

I can import the book from Kindle for Mac into Calibre but obviously can't remove the DRM.

So I switched to deleting the books from Calibre and using my mum's old Kindle eInk reader. This works. I have the books stripped of their DRM and am able to convert to PDF.

HOWEVER, when I do this, not only is all the page layout incorrect, but all of the images and diagrams (it's textbooks) in the original, are missing or replaced with tiny boxes with an icon in them.

I find the settings of Calibre overwhelming, so can anyone please lead this horse to water and explain what I need to do to fix this? Thanks.
