I've noticed it for the last few games now. A very marked difference in how the play looks. They used to be Darryl Sutter personified. Boring, north-south, plodding, cycle cycle cycle and then point shot. Not bashing Darryl, his defensive system was tight but the style of play was so predictable.
What I've seen the last few games it almost looks like they've been told "you have to make a pass within 2 seconds of receiving the puck". It's so much more creative and zippy. Way more fun to watch.
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the difference in style or if it's just confirmation bias.
