Good restaurants in NW near Brentwood/Dalhousie?

I am moving to Calgary next week and will stay with family in Dalhousie and probably rent for the first year in Brentwood. I have been following some food accounts on Instagram and it's seems all the good stuff is in Kensington, Beltline or generally south of the river. Am I wrong ?
Would love recommendations for Asian, BBQ and Mexican near Dalhousie if any :)
