2
(more) Questions about Areas downtown
Post Body

Hi all,

A few weeks ago I wrote here asking for peoples opinion about Eau Claire, and was really happily surprised by the amount of responses! As we are looking for a place near a daycare for our 1 year old daughter, we have decided to look at others areas downtown, as the place we had found at Eau Claire is almost 30% more than other daycares.

So there 3 areas we are currently looking at are:

  1. East Village (Condo The Hat East Village)
  2. Downtown West End (O'neill Tower on 7th Ave 9th Street)
  3. West Village (Sunalta Oasis 10th Ave 7th Street)

All 3 areas have 3 bedroom apartments we like, are near the light rail (my wifes uncle lives up near Dalhousie station so we would like to have easy access to visit him) and near daycare.

So the question is:

For a family with a young child, what do you guys think about these areas and about the building in case you know these specific ones? Traffic, access to groceries and parks and playgrounds nearby etc.
