I've had a work from home job for the past year which has been nice, but now interviewing for jobs that would be 2-3 days per week downtown in Bankers Hall.
We live in Arbor Lake, 15 min walk from the station, and the hope is that I will walk in good weather and have my wife drive me to the station in the morning and then take the train down.
When I can afford the gas and the parking, how likely am I to stick to that plan? We are getting by with just one car currently and I would hate to have to buy another just for a few days per week, but especially during winters im afraid knowing there is are warm seats (not from someones previous cheeks) waiting in the garage is gonna be hard to resist.
Would love to hear peoples stories who lives a similar distance away and commute to the downtown center with work near a transit stop.
