Hey people of Calgary!
I am a solo traveller currently exploring Canada. So far I’ve been to GTA and Montreal and in each one of those areas they had a card I could charge and use for every transit there (Presto and Opus). What is the most affordable and convenient way here to use public transit? I will be staying here for 3 weeks, working from my laptop in my AirBnb 4 days of the week and exploring 3 days of the week. I am located near the Maryland Heights Campus (I know the location is not ideal and not very central, but my priority was a quiet area and lower price so I can work in peace). I have a bus stop very close to my AirBnB so I can go from there.
What would you guys say would be the best option for me? Do y’all also have a card like Opus and Presto and is it worth it? Is there maybe a better alternative for my situation (expect for renting a car which I don’t want)? I would appreciate every answer!
