CPP Society of Women Engineers will be hosting a networking event called Evening with Industry in two weeks! There is an Evening with Industry Raffle on our Instagram account (@cppswe) for anyone who wants to win a free ticket to EWI and a plushie! Last day to enter the raffle is on November 6th, 2022! Please see the attached associated flyer on how to participate.
What is Evening with Industry?
Evening with Industry is CPP SWE's annual networking event for students and company representatives to connect with each other and discuss potential career/internship opportunities. Students get the opportunity to participate in rotational networking sessions with various companies. Food and drinks will be provided, and there will also be an opportunity to win some prizes. So far, we have been sponsored by Lockheed Martin, Boeing, PepsiCo, Northrop Grumman, Whiting-Turner, and Griffith Company. There will also be a keynote speaker, Nancy Briseno-Rivera, who is the Vice President of Whiting-Turner. Briseno-Rivera is an Architecture Cal Poly SLO alumni who has worked for Whiting-Turner for 25 years! This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about industry and meet new people. This event is open to everyone.
Evening with Industry will take place on November 18, 2022 from 5PM - 8PM at CPP Ursa Minor (Building 35).
Below is the tentative itinerary for EWI:

We will be hosting workshops to prepare for EWI virtually on Friday November 4th, and Thursday November 10th at TBD times.
