Tips from a CPP Grad and GE's
Post Body

One day many of you will have kids or you will be an aunt or uncle.

Kids are curious little fuckers and you will need to have answers to many different subjects in less than 60 seconds. Kids will rapid fire you with questions from all angles.

I once asked my counselor why I needed to take GEs and she said, "one day you will be playing Trivial Pursuit and you will understand".

My version of Trivial Pursuit is a highly curious son in the information age.

That's what GE's teach you. They provide the basis to the simple questions and if you read a lot (as most college grads do) you will be able to answer those questions.

You have two jobs in this life when it comes to your learned capacity, yourself and the future generations.
