Post Body

i’m currently a freshie that commutes about 30 minutes to and from school 5 days a week. i understand that timing can be worse but going back and forth everyday has become exhausting already, not to mention the expense of having to fill my car tank 2 or 3 times a week.

i’m really considering dorming for my sophomore but money is a big issue for me. i have 0 efc since i am very low income but i did thankfully get about 14k in aid this year which covers my tuition and other expenses but it simply isn’t enough to afford housing. i wanted to see if anyone here has any advice on how i can get housing partially paid for or even fully.

i am aware that it’s not always easy getting assistance on paying housing and it’s a long shot but it doesn’t hurt to try. anything and everything helps :D

edit: i forgot to mention that i am trying to avoid big loans. i’m fine with a 5k-10k loan but i just don’t wanna have a huge debt to my name
